About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll fill a key role in acquiring new business and cultivating a base of enthusiastic customers. Being a champion of the entire sales process, you will use your creative prospecting skills to strategically pursue new business and sell prospects on the value proposition of Ezoic’s AI Ad Platform. Working through complex deals your insatiable curiosity and your drive to succeed keeps you at the top of the leaderboard. You will have extensive opportunity to expand your knowledge in online advertising, website infrastructure and AI, through formal and on-the-job training.

Candidates must possess a keen attention to detail, the capacity to grasp complex technologies, and the skill to utilize various data platforms efficiently. Success hinges not only on conventional sales activities—prospecting, pitching, conducting demos, and closing deals—but also on executing non-traditional responsibilities. These include technical onboarding, troubleshooting, facilitating inter-team communication to address technical or performance issues, and providing comprehensive account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify high-quality prospects and determine the best contact person and method.
  • Craft highly-personalized outreach messages to effectively engage prospects.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate Ezoic’s value proposition, aligning our solutions with the needs of prospective customers.
  • Maintain persistence with follow-ups to convert prospects into warm leads.
  • Schedule and conduct demos to showcase Ezoic’s innovative technology and it’s benefits to potential clients.
  • Onboard new clients and manage the account for the first 45 days.
  • Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and continually educate clients on Ezoic’s platform and long term benefits.
  • Successfully transition accounts to our long-term Customer Success Team.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quotas by maintaining and adjusting sales activities as necessary.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and well-organized. The ability to multitask effectively is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional team players, but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment.
  • Previous sales experience, especially in SaaS, is a plus.
  • Candidates with a demonstrated history of success in strategic roles, whether in sales or related fields.
